The Tortoise & The Hare

Just a whimsical idea I had one morning about one of Aesop's Fables, The Tortoise and The Hare. So I'm submitting this one to Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. Vote for me! he hehee..

-Yes, the tortoise did win yesterday. But unfortunately, he has lacunar amnesia.

I sketched and drew the characters in my sketchbook and digital colored in Photoshop. I'm not quite satisfied with the result though.

I've set my eyes on bamboo wacom (for quite some time now) and would love to purchase one so that I can practice more on digital coloring and stuff.. I'm sure many designers out there are using pen tablet like wacom products. I haven't done much survey just yet.. but this thing must be quite expensive so I'm saving some money for it too. Hope I could get some advice and tips before buying this gadget.

I love it! I also do the same thing...I sketch something up and then digitally color it. Looking forward to getting a graphics tablet too. Lol. They are so amazing! I need one now!

Cute, lovin the roller skates! This is my Wacom advice, save a little more and get an Intous (more professional). The Bamboo is more for at home fun and the pressure when your writing isn't as smooth (so I've read), but then I can be biased cuz I have an Intuos, but the Bamboo could be a good starting point if you just want to try out a tablet to see if you like them.

Cute! I recommend any of the Wacom tablets. The Bamboo is not as nice as the Intuos, but is way cheaper and still very good. It is worth the money! I've used Wacoms for years and would not be without one.

Wow. I really really appreciate for each and everyone of you for dropping by. Your comments really make my day :)

Missy! Owh.. I'm so glad you could offer a thoughtful advice on the Intuos. I'll definitely check it out, afterwards.

And good to know from Melisa that wacom is always recommendable and dependable too.

Again, thank you so much you guys..
