Please head over to this lovely online Muslimah's Boutique to see what's on offer.

I really love the palazos, skirts, jubahs and those cute pins for selendang!

Enjoy your on9 shopping!

Helloooooooooooo!

I wish you had a great new start this year 2014.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for taking a bit of time checking out my inactive blog.

Even though I haven't updated much, I've had people contacting me through emails and FB... asking for my ART services. Thank you... Thank you.

Yes, I'm still alive and I still do take orders for caricatures/ designs/ doodles and such.
However, my time is now more occupied with my duty as a MOM to a very cheeky and active boy who's turning TWO by April this year.

A Happy Little Astronaut!

If I were to do my magical 'creations', it'll be during his sleeping time, especially during the night.
So, if you need me to do anything for you, please get in touch with me in advance and NOT with last minutes job.
Another thing is, I plan to get back to my drawing table and do more serious artworks (ie. watercolor paintings) this year, insyaAllah...
So, you might see some updates here instead of in Yartstik. (I've figured out that managing more than one blog is quite an uphill battle now...hehee).

Last 2 nights, I doodled a new HEADER for myself... but I'm not sure why I couldn't get it installed in the Blog. So, why don't I just display it here for now.

In the meanwhile... have a bright and prosperous year ahead... and enjoy!

Check Out Succikoo!

We have a new Muslimah Boutique online called Succikoo.

I had the honor to create its simple designed Header, Watermark and Animated Badge/Ad..

Thank you to Ayu and partner :)...

All the Best to both of you and Congratulations!

A Green Header

Yes, this header I recently made has a lot of Green and a dash of FuN in it.
Just look how happy the kids are. :)

Thank you dear Esmeda for your order.

Head over to PASTI in Pasir Gudang, to check in your kids if you're interested!

This is Her Paper Plane...

I had the chance to create a header for this site called Kapal Terbang Kertas Ku (My Paper Airplane).

I really enjoy reading about her life adventures (and misadventures) as a Teacher posted in a place so foreign for us living in the city.

Wow. Her stories have opened my eyes about life as a Teacher and those people who are so close to the Nature...
Who are the latter, you may ask...?

Well, please go ahead and visit her wonderful blog to know more... :)

Enjoy!

Through the Clouds She Flies...

It's always lovely to receive souvenirs from someone you know... family or friends. Even if the souvenir is small, it's nice to know you're in their thoughts :). What a blessing!

A few days ago, I received a surprise package from my sweet client, AyuJamal. How lovely and thoughtful of her since we have only known each other through the virtual world these couple of years...

I'm very inspired to see how motivated she is with her life and business and received so much rewards... spiritually and physically, while doing that. How wonderful!

I wish nothing but the best for you, U :)

Please head to her beautiful AyuJamal's to know more about what she's doing and enjoy the New Header I made especially for her recently. Perhaps, you too would like to join her flying through the clouds... (to Paris, next? InsyaAllah :)).

The PinkGegirl... & my Baby...

I've been postponing to update a recent HEADER that I did for a sweet client in pink!

As you can see, it was mostly hand-drawn... except for the background.

I had fun creating it and I'm glad she liked it too!

Please visit Pinkgegirl for some interesting stories of her life :)

Talking about life!
Baby Zain just turned 3 months old yesterday. He got his 3rd jab the day before and had a little fever after that. Huhuu... poor boy. But he still managed to make a cheeky face.

love u.

too much.

Enjoy!

Hmmm... let's see if I could work this out with baby Zain :)

By the way, did you see my new blog Header?
Yeah... I just thought it's a good time to have a new one... with my baby in it! Haha.

Look at him- so naughty! :P

He has 'something in his eyes... that when you look into them, all your pain, sadness and fears will be gone with the wind. How magical!

Yes, Zain... you make me tired.

I couldn't get enough sleep and rest for keeping up with you.

I can't diet because of breastfeeding you.

My good friends keep reminding me that everything will be worth it at the end of the day.

But all I know for now...is I'm just glad He sent me you as a Muse :)

As for my Old Blog Header, Good bye and Thank you,... you've served me well and I'll always keep you safely in my file.

Lurvely Header & A Teacher

My blogger friend asked me to do a few things for her lovely blog:
- a sweet new header
- a business card design
- and a watermark
All of these required some hand drawn works that came from her own ideas!

Check out her creative outlet at lurvering.blogspot.com.

Another client, a tuition center's teacher... wanted to have herself drawn as a cartoon to be printed on t-shirts for a program she organized. Another cool idea, huh?

Enjoy!

A New Header for PuanBee!

I really had fun designing a simple one for puanbee.com, just for the fact that I needed to doodle her family of five in it!

Do check out this full-time Super Mom's blog for a wealth of info, news plus daily ramblings of her life.

Thanks for the order, PuanBee!
All the very best to you :)

AyuJamal...is THE Agent!

My lovely and vivacious client, Ayu Jamal has ordered a few things that I'd certainly like to share here today.

She made me created an "icon" that showed her as an Agent- a TOP one, nonetheless :)!

Ermmm.... That was the first one I did... but she has chosen another one- with a shotgun! Woww! :

She also ordered a lovely, simple New Header for her site ayujamal.com, together with a new watermark.

The New Header

The New Watermark

After that, she has decided to get a couple of gifts for her lovely friends and so she commissioned me one A4 sized Couple Caricature and a Hand-Painted Wooden Frame.

Well, that's about it!

Do check her website for a beautiful you :).

Thanks Ayu. I wish all the best for your business.

Ayu Jamal and her NEW Header!

My sweet and lovely blogger friend, Ayu Jamal from ayujamal.com has requested for a new header for her blog. Two months ago, I created one for her e-shop.

When she wanted a new one with her original picture in it (instead of her caricature), I made something like this:

Then, she got back to me saying she needed something much simpler... without any products like her previous one. But, if I could slot in her dream pink Mini Car like the one featured in July post, she would really love it!

I looked at what she has provided me with- 2 lovely pictures of herself.. :

Hmmm... I was thinking... how to design just a simple header with white background, highlighting her name and incorporating the cute little car...?

I brainstorm with a few compositions... and lastly, I came up with this- which she absolutely approved :)

Now, if you look closely, the one sitting on the car has given me quite a challenge since I have to somehow 'create' her crossing legs because you can't see the rest of the legs in the original photo given (see pic above).

With the magic of Photoshop, I managed to make it. Heheheee... not that easy, I can you tell you that :)

Thank you Ayu.
I'm humbled by the way you appreciate my works and I've had so much fun making them for you.
May Allah bless you, your business and your family... always.

AyuJamal's e-shop!

A New Day, A New Look, for Ayu Jamal's E-Shop!

Thanks Ayu for your order and for appreciating my design :).
This loving mother of two is selling her Premium Beautiful like HOT cakes!
I pray your business will prosper and more successful... as time goes by... okey Ayu?
InsyaAllah...

Ayu has asked me to make a HEADER and a matching little BANNER for her e-shop.

Check her SHOP out, OK?

Enjoy!

Hmm... what else huh?

Owh yess.. my lovely client, Ayu Jamal has a new header which was initially done for animation but because it couldn't run, now it's just a cool still header, nonetheless. So, I'd like to update it here too :)). Thanks, Ayu!

Well, look at how the time flies... in another month, Ramadhan will be here. Now, I'm off to create and propose a few Hari Raya Aildilfitri Card designs for my other client. I'm thinking of making a few Raya Wish animations too- for myself and for individuals who are interested to send personal MMS through their mobiles- yes, with your own Caricatures. I'll show some samples when I have the chance, ok?

Wish me Luck!... And I wish all the Best to you too :).

Doodled a Header for AyuJamal

I never thought I could offer a service for designing a Blog Headers or Badges and stuff before.. hihi.
But I guess, I can now.

If you've browsed much of my creations.. most of them are hand-drawn and painted. Yes, I am also a freelance Graphic Designer.. and have designed quite a lot of company logos.. corporate identities.. flyers.. brochures..etc.. over the years. However, I still treasure the pain of 'traditional' methods of pencil and paper. Ol'school as I may be.. I know many still appreciate it too :).

Ayu Jamal from AyuJamal.com has become my very first client to adorn my art&design works for her blog. She liked what I did for my header and so she contacted me for a more 'personal' outlook for her header.. of course, with her own caricature in it! After going back and forth with my design proposals.. she finally approved and already put 'em up at her site. Yay!

If you want a great looking body like AyuJamal here.. pewwiiittt!.. please go to her site and buy Premium Beautiful from her. (U.. I can get commission or not for this..?haha).

Enjoyyy.. the weekend is near.

P/S: The fonts for AYUJAMAL was hand-drawn too..
