Happy Holidays, Everyone!

When my Bee was away, I would spend time at my parents' house and did my works in my sister's bedroom. Yesterday, while busy doing my work, my nephews came flocking by and asking me this and that about what I was doing. To keep them occupied ( and stopped bothering me- ha!)... I gave each of them a drawing paper and paint for me something about the holiday spirit!

Here's what my 7 years old nephew, Amin came up with...

Amin has his own story on the painting. Something about Mr. Santa, his son and an elf brought some gifts into a house near a wishing well... and another elf waiting in the ride up there with a ladder. Yup. Something like that.

Now, let's see what his 5 years old brother, Hakim did...

Hmmm... well, Hakim said these characters of his are HAPPY because of the HOLIDAYS!!!

Way to go, Hakim! :D

Have fun, everyone.

Adorable Duo

BFF!
That's what their mothers hope they will be :).
These adorable duo are the daughters of my good friends.

Mothers have so much hope for their kids. More often than not, they hope their kids will have a good if not a better life than theirs. Many kids live up to their hopes.. while others may have let them down in some ways. Well, I suppose... as so many things in life, you can only but hope. You can give so much.. you can take so much. Someday, like little birds.. they'll fly their own wings and explore their own territories.

Owh, by the way.. I came across this blog named THE MEANEST MOM.

I kind of enjoying many moms' experiences through motherhood and hers is one of the coolest. My theory is.. to be a mother, you need to be creative- not necessarily in art! Make Life interesting while your children is growing up and they'll treasure the memories as long as they live. (Since I don't have any children yet, I might as well make up some theories of motherhood..heh) Really- hers was Voted Parent & Child Magazine's Best Mommy Blogger 2009. Now, if you don't have much to do or read, just check out her "funny without being crude" blog :).

Enjoy!

Family Fun in Frames!

It's quite common to see family pictures in frames, whenever you go to someone's home or.. office. Yes, it's nice to see the faces of your loved ones and yourself.. decorating the walls or tables. They give comfort to your heart.. and it's truly a precious feeling.

But when you turn a photo into a piece of ART, it's even more SPECIAL... for every moment you look at it, you'll find yourself smiling... appreciating not only the work of art but the spirit that the artist may have captured about you and your loved ones! So how about turning your family photos into FUN family pictures?

I'm sharing with you here 2 families who have decided to turn their Raya Celebration family photos into Caricatures :)..

And then, one of them has decided to also turn her Wedding Anniversary memory into a piece of Art. How sweet :).

Now, put all these in frames.. and what do you have?
Well... the truth is, you still have your loved ones in your heart but now, it's more fun to see them in different version. This is what we call, the Art of Love.. ok, I just made up that one. heh.

Enjoy!

Your family and your love must be cultivated like a garden. Time, effort, and imagination must be summoned constantly to keep any relationship flourishing and growing.
