Above Thank You card is quite small, thus a "NOTE" :). Actually, I'm in the mood of creating  some cute 'animal characters'. 

I love animals but one of my favorites is rabbit. Used to have one.. err.. a few- while I was growing up.  My first rabbit was named "Jem". She was sooo cute, fluffy and nice. She would scratch the front door of our house when she wanted to come in and sometimes, slept with me in bed (if I slept in the afternoon but not at night). Then one gloomy morning, all that was left was Jem's head in the backyard as some wild dogs managed to break into the wooden gate and ate her. Couldn't go to school that day as I was so sad. Sobs.

This latest caricature is especially made for a special little Birthday Girl who turned '2' on 19th April 2010!! May Happiness be with her and her family now and hereafter. Maybe right now she doesn't really know how to appreciate it.. but someday, I know she will :)..

A Doodle on Recycled Paper

I find it hard to throw away some old things... even a piece of a blank paper. So, what I have now is a lot of 'junks' as my mom pointed out some time ago. And this brown paper has been around for a few years in between my stacks of 'junks'. Then one fine day, I happened to pick it up and just drew something on it. Hmm.. now I'm falling in love with the paper. It makes a simple pen & ink doodle stands out and good enough to make a card for someone special. Heck, I could even sell it if I wanted to :).

Someone loves ET. So I gave him this cheap T-shirt ;P...

It was a fun self-project for my bee. Just a tiny gift to appreciate his support for my artistic ventures & misadventures.. :). I used a Pelikan product called Stoffmalen- Fabric pens. Convenient to use, easy to handle.. and once your design is done, you've to iron the fabric on the reverse side to fasten colors.
Cool, huh?

A Baby Caricature

A friend asked me to make a caricature of his baby. So cute, huh? I love to color my caricature works with color-pencils- easier to handle and fun to mix & play with too.
Well, here's an idea- if you're out of gift ideas to give to your friends- especially for their kids, and then you happen to have pictures of theirs kids, why not "cartoonized" the kids' faces and put it in a nice not-too- expensive frame. I'm sure they'll love it!  Yup, I've seen those smiles before.. :)

Hurt my back a little while doing these two. They seem quite simple but each characters is quite detailed yet fun to do.. Oooh, my eyes are tired too but I really enjoyed doing the cards...and now, it's time to sleep. zzzz.
